You've made the initial offer so what happens next?
The Seller will often respond with what is called a counter offer. They may change the price, dates or any other conditions in the contract . Your REALTOR® will discuss all these changes with you and help you make a decision on how to proceed. You can "accept" the counter offer if it's reasonable or you can make further changes again, trying to find some middle ground. Negotiating is an art and the experience of a good REALTOR® is invaluable at this time.
Once everyone has reached a deal that is satisfactory to all parties the real work begins.
