Several rural delights await the visitor to Salmon Arm. Tour Gort's Gouda Cheese Farm and learn  about cheese production then sample the delicious cheeses before you buy. If wine is your beverage of choice, visit Larch Hills Winery for a lesson in vinting, a glorious view and, of course, a taste of the grape. You'll want to take some sunny Shuswap wine home with you. Horticulturists will be delighted to stroll through Edgemont Farms, a former dairy farm, turned gardener's paradise. Rest among the beautiful greenery, savour a rich ice cream treat or browse in the unique gift shop. Visit DeMille's, a farm with a fabulous selection of seasonal fruit and produce, baked goods, ice cream and gifts, and a delightful zoo to enchant young and old. Take a twenty minute drive from town and visit Herald's Park and take a quiet stroll through the cathedral-like trail to Margaret's Falls or visit the Rotary Skyview Lookout.
